impressions
visual: About 5'8"/5'9". Head entirely replaced with flaming clock prosthetic that somehow operates in its place. Prefers to be completely covered up in clothing, and defaults to workwear with a coat. Gloves are a necessity.
aural: Due to lacking a mouth, speaks in ticking sounds instead, though they can alter the volume and frequency of such. Occasionally produces other sounds such as chimes, gongs, etc. dependent on strong emotion. Relies on gestures, sign language, interpretation, and text devices for those who cannot understand the intention behind their sounds.
Dialogue will be written < in chevrons. >
scent: Metal, mechanical grease, slightly dusty laundry, hints of blood and smoke. It's rough work out there, but they try to stay clean.
attitude: Mainly just trying to survive the City and carry out Limbus Company's mission. Driving force of wanting to regain their memory and original head, as well as "engrave their aspect" - a desire strong enough that it got them to accept the world's sketchiest job offer without question, and something Dante doesn't yet remember the meaning of. Attempting to be a charming and steadfast leader, but not strong enough to fully command the respect of their Sinners without trying, and somewhat cowardly when it comes to their own life. Not above petty responses and the cutthroat nature of the Districts, unfazed by violence as an option. Would love a little recognition for their hard work or the massive amounts of pain they go through on the regular to revive their employees. Pondering the orb of their existence.
other
mindreading: Talk to me first.
spiritual reading: Dante is supernaturally bound to twelve other people - the Sinners of Limbus Company - allowing them to understand Dante's speech without translation and be resurrected from death via Dante's powers of time. Talk to me if needed for the full breakdown.
shipping: Open to canon and crosscanon both, 20+. No gender preference.
ic boundaries: None. The City's a mess, man, there's a lot that has been seen and will be seen. They throw people into the bus engine to make it go.
ooc boundaries: Need warning for incest and sexual assault/abuse. Hard no on graphic child death. If you're not sure, ask.
note: Dante is nonbinary, and referred to solely with they/them pronouns as well as gender neutral terms in canon. ICly, a character assuming one way or another is fine, though they'll politely correct others as needed.
